Emerging technologies could transform education, yet their adoption remains slow because of fragmented approaches. Digital instruction still favours mass delivery and conventional assessment, while personalised learning, collaboration and higher-order 21st-century competencies remain a significant challenge.
augMENTOR combines a novel pedagogical framework with an open-access, AI-boosted toolkit that uses big data, learning analytics and a knowledge graph to give students, teachers and policy makers explainable recommendations and personalised learning profiles. As technical coordinator, we led the knowledge-graph-based decision and policy-making algorithms and the data mapping, fusion and orchestration toolbox.
