We built the EO4EU knowledge graph and semantic annotation layer that semantically relates Earth Observation datasets, services and descriptions, so users can discover and query the resources they need. We also led the multi-stakeholder requirements analysis and the project's data management plans.

An AI-enhanced "nervous system" connecting citizens, policymakers and public institutions in a two-way dialogue that drives climate adaptation.
Work Package Leader — WP4
We lead WP4 and build NEUROCLIMA's AI-boosted nervous system, which monitors social media and policy for climate trends, concerns and social tipping points. We also run the EU climate-adaptation policy observatory and the semantic enrichment and analytics behind the project's climate dialogues.

Tackling childhood obesity with data
The first EU biobank for childhood and adolescent obesity, powering risk assessment and personalised healthy-living recommendations for families, clinicians and schools.
Technical Partner — Knowledge Graphs & Synthetic Data
We build the Bio-Streams knowledge graph and the synthetic data generation behind the biobank. The graph semantically maps and links heterogeneous health data, and realistic synthetic datasets improve model training, fill gaps in missing data and reduce bias. We also integrate the open toolkit components into the Bio-Streams platform.

Earlier detection of colorectal cancer
A minimally invasive, AI-assisted screening approach for colorectal cancer, using protein biomarkers from routine liquid biopsies and personal risk factors.
Technical Partner — AI Modelling
We lead the project's AI modelling, identifying the protein biomarkers with the highest discriminative power for colorectal cancer screening. The goal is a small, cost-effective set of proteins that also accounts for risk factors and comorbidities, and we deliver the interim and final DIOPTRA AI models.

Recovering lost sustainability wisdom
Regenerating heritage landscapes through co-creation between architects, designers, artists, local institutions and communities, piloted in Łódź, Milan and Jerez de la Frontera.

We led WP5 and built the knowledge graph and AI-boosted explanation engine that help moderators review suspicious content faster. It integrates knowledge from different hosting providers and explains the reasoning behind each decision.

Explainable, accountable AI through agents
A GenAI-powered multi-agent backbone that makes AI systems explainable, accountable and transparent, validated in five pilots from healthcare to music.
Technical Coordinator
As Technical Coordinator we steer the project's technical work and lead WP6, building the AIXPERT platform and the knowledge-graph and RAG integration that lets agents ground and explain their decisions. We also run the monitoring of agentic workflows and the project's data management.

Internet of everything for smart cities
A horizontal smart-city IoT platform built on FIWARE open standards, connecting eight vertical solutions from health and energy to culture and retail.
Technical Partner — Semantic Data & AI
We built the platform's data content management layer, which homogenises data from every vertical solution into a unified model using NGSI-LD and the Pleione ontology to create a shared knowledge base. We also contributed ecosystem dashboards and scenario simulation, and led the project's feasibility, sustainability and exploitation study.

We lead WP3 and design the modular architectural framework for the three AgriFMs, then build the AgriScienceFM agentic framework: an LLM-based orchestrator that queries the models and knowledge base and draws on our graph-RAG work. We also lead the project's data and risk management, quality assurance and exploitation strategy.
A safety co-pilot for prescribing
A privacy-preserving, multi-agent AI co-pilot that helps clinicians prevent adverse drug events in geriatrics and oncology through explainable, evidence-based recommendations.

We build the clinician-facing Co-Pilot interface and the XAI and trust-calibration dashboards that make the system's recommendations understandable and auditable. We lead WP2 and design ARGENTIC's reference architecture for distributed agentic intelligence, which becomes the project's open-source SDK. We also build the multi-agent collaboration and task delegation logic, the RAG 2.0 interfaces for secure knowledge retrieval, and the CI/CD pipelines for the model lifecycle.

Making AI regulation workable for business
Tools, guidelines and certification processes that help data holders, data spaces and AI providers comply with EU AI regulation, validated in seven pilots.

Technical Coordinator
As Technical Coordinator we lead the GENeCITY reference architecture and the AI Scenario Engine, which combines RAG and AI agents to translate climate policies into measurable local goals and what-if scenarios. We also build the urban-policy knowledge graph and the infrastructure that orchestrates AI with a minimal environmental footprint.

A platform that records athletes' training and match loads and uses machine learning to predict musculoskeletal injury risk in elite football and basketball.
