Data holders, data spaces and AI providers face a growing body of EU rules (the AI Act, Data Act, Data Governance Act and GDPR) with few answers on which rules apply, how to comply or who can certify them. Cybersecurity risks and the energy cost of AI add further uncertainty. Together these slow investment in Europe's data and AI market.

CERTAIN translates the regulations into business terms. It builds compliance tools for data holders, data spaces and AI providers, designs certification processes, and starts a directory of certification entities by sector. It is tested in seven pilots across biometrics, health, energy, HR, finance and IT. We lead the IT pilot, which builds automated compliance checks into the MLOps process for deploying digital solutions.
