We lead the AI-powered participation mechanisms — deploying and scaling dlbrt., with argument mining, automated summarisation and categorisation, across the programme's participatory sessions, alongside the project's data management and quality assurance.

Impact and outcomes

Targeting ≥700 participants from ≥5 HEIs across the pilot and full-scale phases
Targeting ≥2 new startups created or scaled and ≥10 SMEs supported in adopting academic innovations
350 students trained in the pilot phase and 455 in the full-scale phase, alongside academic and non-academic staff
AI-powered participation mechanisms piloted, then deployed at full scale on dlbrt.

The challenge

Academic research too rarely reaches the market. Limited industry reach, resource constraints and fragile collaboration hold back knowledge transfer, while STEM entrepreneurship programmes lack diversity, their impact is measured inconsistently, and less-developed innovation ecosystems lose talent to brain drain.

Our approach

TRIANGLE runs an online programme of training and mentoring sprints, co-designed with academia and industry — first as a pilot in Albania, Cyprus, Greece and Spain, then rolled out to all EU member states. We integrate dlbrt. into the programme's participatory sessions, using AI to summarise and categorise discussions and generate real-time reports that support decision-making.
